“Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her and likewise also the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.”

1 Corinthians 7:3,4 (nkjv)

GUARDRAILS FOR MARRIAGE

Marriage is the contractual binding covenant commitment to live together

in a mutual union that is recognized morally by God and His Word.

Marriage is Legitimate when it is Enacted Verbally, Validated Legally and

Consummated Physically.

Marriage is God’s intended gift of intimate blessing and loving relationship

between a man and a woman.

Marriage is a cleaving commitment that binds two people together into a

unique ‘one-of-a-kind’ dynamic connection of mutual love and sharing.

Marriage is blessed, sanctified, ordained, honored and exalted by God.

Marriage is a permanent agreement for which God never intended divorce.

Marriage is the only House in which sexual relations are meant to be

experienced. Imparted within God’s design: Procreation, Celebration,

Representation & Sanctification.

Marriage, beyond any earthly value, is intended to also express

a forever union of love and commitment that exists between Christ

and His Bride, the Church.

Partners that support a God-honoring Marriage include: Love & Respect,

Forgiveness & Grace, Patience & Praise, Christ & His Word.

MARRIAGE IS GODLY, SACRED, HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS

“You should know this, in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (nlt)
